Meatballs with a heart of caciotta cheese

Succulent meatballs with a stringy heart of fresh caciotta cheese!

Ingredients
for 4 people
- 500 g of ground beef
- 150 g of fresh cow’s caciotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 50 g of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Oil for frying q.b.
Preparation
1.
In a bowl, mix ground meat with egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

Form patties and, in the center of each patty, insert a caciotta cheese cube.


3.
Seal the patty well so that the cheese does not leak out during cooking.


4.
Fry the meatballs in plenty of hot oil until golden brown.
5.
Serve the meatballs piping hot, perhaps with a tomato sauce or a fresh salad!
