A simple but strong-tasting appetizer with a cream cheese that goes perfectly with the breech.

Ingredients
for 4 people
- 8 slices of whole wheat or rye bread
- 100 g of breech
- 100 g of cream cheese (such as Philadelphia or robiola)
- 50 g of chopped walnuts
- A drizzle of honey (optional)
- Black pepper
Preparation
1.
Lightly toast the bread slices until crispy.


2.
Spread cream cheese on each slice of bread.


3.
Add thinly sliced breech on top.


4.
Garnish with chopped walnuts and, if you like, a drizzle of honey to counteract the savoriness of the breech.

Complete with a sprinkling of black pepper and serve immediately.
