Caciotta and lemon cookies

Small crumbly and aromatic cookies with the delicate flavor of caciotta cheese and the scent of lemon.

Ingredients
dose for 20 cookies
- 150 g of fresh cow’s caciotta cheese
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- Peel of 1 lemon
- A pinch of salt
- Icing sugar to decorate
Preparation
1.
In a bowl, work the butter with the sugar, add the egg and mix until creamy.

Add flour, grated caciotta cheese, lemon zest and a pinch of salt. Knead until a smooth dough is obtained.

Roll out the dough and cut out cookies with a cookie cutter.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
